Hello everyone!

After a series of improvisation workshops in 2014-2015 with teachers affiliated with UQAM, amateur musicians, colleagues’ students and at friends’ parties, I am increasingly convinced and passionate about the approach proposed by Music For People. What could be more rewarding than creating your own music! The workshops will be back in January 2016 and the dates will be posted shortly in my calendar.

Two of my compositions (Variations on a nursery rhyme and Serenata in Barcelona) have been approved in the new edition of Vincent d’Indy’s Program. Students will be able to choose them from their 5th and 6th grade repertoire.

Students continue to pass well in Vincent- d’Indy exams, often receiving mentions of excellence. A long-time student, Vithou Thurber-Prom Tep was accepted to the Bachelor in jazz piano at McGill this year.

Finally, I will launch a Live improvisation album with my Fellow violinist Norman Nawrocki at the Casa del Popolo on December 23.

Looking forward to reading you and seeing you again soon!
