The Great Snow Goose was composed in 2020 forthe Canadian Federation of Music Teachers Associations Call for Composition Competition. She was selected as the winner of the 3rd and 4th grade Piano Solo category.
Variations on a Nursery Rhyme and Serenata en Barcelona were created from 2013 to 2014 in a moment of exploration of the composition process. Of course, I wanted my students to benefit from it, but I didn't have a specific goal in mind, other than the inspiration of the moment.
My three compositions are now listed in the Piano Program of the Vincent-d'Indy Music School: The Great Snow Goose at the 3rd year level, Variations on a Nursery Rhyme, 5th year and Serenata en Barcelona, 6th year. They have received a warm welcome from the teaching community and are aimed as much at an audience of young pianists as at amateur musicians.
Variations on a Nursery Rhyme are inspired by the birth of my little niece and give rise to the exploration of different styles and rhythmic games on a theme full of candor.

The Greater Snow Goose. This composition evokes the migration of the Greater Snow Goose from the tundra of the High Arctic to the Atlantic Coast in the United States in a melodious theme, followed by a flight of birds.
